East Cork Camera Group is a photography group, with members from various parts of East Cork and beyond.

The group was founded in 2000 and our aim is

"to increase people’s knowledge & appreciation of photography,

both for our members & for the wider community."

We achieve this with regular meetings, photo shoots, workshops, exhibitions and our annual calendar. 

We work with local community groups on photographic projects and support local charities. Each year we produce a calendar focusing on the East Cork area and nominated local charities are selected by the Group to receive donations from the calendar proceeds.

We are members of the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF) and the Southern Association of Camera Clubs (SACC) and our members participate in their competitions.

We meet at the Midleton Park Hotel at 8pm on the first and third Tuesday of each month except for July, August and December. We conduct shoots on a weekly basis, at least, weather permitting, throughout the year.
